Last time I promised you the pictures of the finished blanket I had made for my son. And I finally managed to take some photos.
It was pretty rainy and cloudy here in the past several days, like instead of spring, autumn was coming.
For this blanket I used one of my favorite granny squares Rosie Posie Grannie from the lovely Cherry Heart blog.
I already used this pattern several times, for this pillow, this and this.
I really, really love how this blanket looks like, like pure happiness…
I'm in love with your blanket.
Lisa

O this is so lovely! I really like the colors and the way they go together and the rounds. I was searching for a granny square pattern, but this blanket is the best!

Thank you Sandra! I joined the squares with simple crochet.
Thank you, I must check that out.

Your blog is simply wonderful, im so glad I came across it x
Very Beautiful!! Your work is stunning! And thanks for the edge chart. Lovely lovely. Will share it on FB this weekend!
BEAUTIFUL! Can you tell us what size your finished blanket was and how many squares it took?
Beautilful!
This is so beautiful as is all of your work! I have searched, unsuccessfully, to find a source for this cotton yarn. If you or any of your readers know where it can be purchased (online), would you please let me know in the comments? Thank you. I would love to make this for my daughter.
Bravo Dragana! Hvala, Tanja
Would it be possible to tell me how many colors I should buy to make this? I love it. Trying to figure out the number of balls of yarn and how many colors is confusing to me!!! I am not very experienced!!
Whaou, gorgeous indeed!
Like Marsha i'm also not very experienced but ready to try a large proyect like this. My girls absolutely loved the blanket and so do I.
I can see that you used about 18 diferent colors plus white, can you tell me how many balls of each colors you needed?
I dont even know if when the yarn says 50g is that the ball weights 50g or of it is a yarn gauge measure.
Could you help me out a little bit to know either how much your blanket weights, how many balls you used?
Thanks for showing your beautiful work and putting links for us new at this to adventure in the world of crochet.
Thanks thanks thanks
Just stumbled upon your website. A beginner to crotchet and am amazed at the beautiful colours and blankets. Yours is outstanding and I must try the sunny flowers! Will certainly watch your space.
The colors! I’m always so thrilled to visit your blog and see all the beautiful color choices you’ve made! I just love EVERYTHING that you make!
This blanket is absolutely gorgeous! Is there anywhere where we can see how you joined the granny squares together? I found your tutorial for the edging, but I haven’t seen anything for joining the squares. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you so much, Gloria! Actually, I’m going to make a joining tutorial for my Primavera square blanket, which is the same as this, so stay tuned. You can sign in for my newsletter, so you won’t miss any of my future projects.
