CROCHET PATTERN: Felicity Shawl
Felicity Shawl is a beautiful and modern asymmetrical triangular crochet shawl. You can make it in only one color, or in stripes. It will also look great if you make it in gradient yarn. If you’re looking for an interesting and easy to crochet shawl pattern, Felicity Shawl is just for you!
The pattern is written using US crochet terms.
Skill level: Intermediate
Crochet hook: 3 mm
Stitches: chain stitch (ch st), single crochet (sc) , double crochet (dc), double crochet four together (dc4tog) and picot stitch.
Gauge isn’t crucial for this project: 21 sts and 11 rows in dc to measure 10 x 10 cm (4” x 4”) before blocking, with 3 mm crochet hook and recommended yarn.
Yarn:
Color1: Alize Angora Gold – color 221 (denim)
100 g/550 m (3.58 Oz/601 yds) 80% Acrylic, 20% Wool
You’ll need 1 skein of 100 g.
Color2: Alize Angora Gold Simli – color 599 (ivory)
100 g/500 m (3.53 Oz/547 yds) 75% Acrylic, 20% Wool, 5% metallic
You’ll need 2 skeins of 100 g.
Felicity shawl is 180 cm (70.8”) wide, but you can make it in any size. If you want it smaller, just make fewer repeats, and in case you want a bigger shawl, add more repeats, and finish when you reach the desired size.
